You can close your eyes to reality
but not to memories.
- Stanislaw Lee

There was a time when our lives evolved within the walls and halls of our Alma Mater. Saint Theresa's College provided the second home we can never find elsewhere. It is not just an institution that taught us how to care and respect, allowed us to grow and think, or help us understand the world beyond the perimeter . . . it is a place where lasting friendships and youthful exuberance were made. And who can deny that we were also fortunate to be given the best education on reading, writing, arithmetic and some more.

I miss being in a uniform. I remember those pretty pastel uniforms we wore in Prep. I'm especially fond of those yellow ones (as you can see -->> I certainly will not forget Sr. Yvonne or Ms. Mejia. Institutional masses were always a good thing since we're the only ones who can sit.   How about those swings and slides during recess and that big, old and spooky balete tree across the ICM house. Those hanging roots drove our imagination even Tarzan and Jane could not fathom.

Quote For the Day

A cynical young person is almost the saddest sight to see because it means that he or she has gone from knowing nothing to believing in nothing. ~ Maya Angelou

Congratulations!  Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places! You're off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You are on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.

From Oh, the Places You'll Go  by Dr. Seuss
